Frequently asked questions
Most Florida municipalities and counties require a permit for new fence and gate installation, and Miami-Dade and Broward add wind-load requirements under the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone code. We pull and manage the permit as part of every project.
Yes — Florida’s HB 803 exempted some small residential projects from building permits starting July 1, 2026. It doesn’t cover pool barriers, and some cities (West Palm Beach, for example) still require a zoning permit for every fence. We confirm what your address needs — see our fence permit guide.
Most residential projects are completed in 1–3 days once permits and materials are ready. Commercial and government projects are scheduled around your site's operating hours.
Yes. We provide the fence specifications and layout your HOA’s architectural review asks for and help you submit the application. Approval is the HOA’s decision.
Aluminum doesn’t rust the way iron does and needs little upkeep, which is why it’s so common near the coast. Wrought iron and custom steel offer a heavier, fully custom look and are typically chosen for estate entries and high-security applications.
In most cases, yes — we can retrofit keypad, phone-entry or card-access hardware onto an existing manual or automatic gate.
